We created a home for those who love design and love their dog.
Maison Fido was created for people who care about beautiful interiors but also want their dogs to feel truly at home.
We are a small family business, and our inspiration comes from our two dogs: Gucci, our Toy Poodle, and Elvi, our Pomeranian.
We also travel often with our dogs, and even in top hotels, there’s rarely a good solution for pets. At most, you get a pillow and a bowl, but what if you need to pop out for breakfast or leave the room for a little while? That’s how the idea for our Pouf (The Caniture Cove) was born as a stylish, secure spot where your dog can feel safe when you’re not in the room.
Based between Czechia and the Netherlands, we handcraft every piece with care, using quality materials and thoughtful design.Our goal is to create luxury dog furniture that blends naturally into modern interiors while giving dogs a calm and protected space inside the home.
We want to offer other pet owners the same peace and beauty we found, a furniture that gives your pet a safe home within your home, made with love and attention.

For a long time, we looked for a way to integrate our dogs’ daily life into our own without compromising our living space or sense of style. We wanted somewhere our dogs could feel safe and secure, especially when we clean, have guests, or simply need a moment of calm. Little dogs, in particular, love having their own “home” inside the home - a dedicated spot to sleep, eat, and relax.
Everything we found in pet shops felt like a cage. We didn't want our dogs to feel like they were in a zoo.
So, my husband decided to make something himself. He took apart an old side table and built inside it a cozy, enclosed space just for them. That very first prototype is what you now know as our Element cabinet and it changed everything. Our dogs immediately started using it on their own, choosing to nap inside, eat nearby, and retreat there whenever they wanted peace. We could finally close the door gently when needed, and everyone felt better.
The first prototype, born from a personal need, became our most valuable tester. It allowed us to observe real use and solve for challenges like scratching or chewing, leading to our final designs which feature durable, pet-resistant materials and thoughtful details that keep both the furniture and your dog safe and happy.
This first experiment eventually led to what we now call Caniture - a new category of furniture that combines canine comfort with refined interior design.
