Please note that this privacy policy may be changed or supplemented at any time, particularly to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential, or technological developments. In such a case, the update date will be clearly indicated at the top of this policy. These changes are binding on the User as soon as they are posted online. It is therefore advisable that the User consults this privacy and cookie policy regularly to be aware of any changes.

PERSONAL DATA

In general, you can visit the Site without providing any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are under no obligation to provide this information to us. However, if you refuse, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services you have requested, including the placement and processing of orders.

As such, in certain cases, we may be required to ask you to provide information (hereinafter your "Personal Information"):

  • First and last name;

  • Email address;

  • Telephone number;

  • Postal / delivery address;

  • Details of your order (preferred pet furniture model, quantity, special requests, etc.);

  • Payment information (provided only for invoice processing, not stored on the Site);

  • Your communication history with us (emails regarding your order or payment inquiries).

By providing this information, you expressly agree to its processing for the purposes stated in point 2 below, as well as for the purposes stated at the end of each form.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and the applicable national data protection laws, we inform you of the following:

The data controller is Maison Fido, whose address is Jeromstraat 10, 1336 MG, Almere, The Netherlands.

We may process your Personal Information:

  • To provide you with the information or services you have requested (including processing your custom furniture order, managing payments, sending you invoices and order confirmations);

  • To contact you regarding events related to your order, such as order updates, payment reminders, or customer support;

  • To handle any complaints, issues, or inquiries related to your order or payment;

  • To comply with legal and accounting obligations (e.g., invoicing and record-keeping).

 

3. Recipients
We are the sole recipients of your Personal Information. This information, in individual or aggregated form, is never passed on to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors we may use (you will find more information about them in point 7). Our company does not, under any circumstances, trade the personal data of visitors and Users of its Site.

Your personal data is retained by our company only for the period corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in point 2 above, which in no case shall exceed 36 months after the completion of our business relationship (e.g., final delivery of your order, final payment settlement), or for the duration required by legal and accounting obligations (e.g., tax and invoicing retention periods).

  • Right to Object

We undertake to respond to your request for access, correction, or opposition, or any other additional request for information, within a reasonable period which shall not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.
